The company has over 20 agreements with Institutions, Foundations and Hospitals in different countries

The agreement between Saba and the “Instituto Português de Oncologia do Porto” (IPO-Porto), an international reference centre for cancer treatment in Portugal, aims to ensure the continuous improvement of healthcare for its patients by offering them a more comfortable environment. Saba's Managing Director in Portugal, Marco Martins, signed the multi-year partnership agreement with the President of the Governing Board of IPO-Porto, Dr. Júlio Oliveira, during a recent meeting at the hospital.

Opened in 1974, IPO-Porto is the main cancer treatment centre in Portugal and one of the most prestigious in Europe. The institution admits around 10,000 new patients every year and is currently providing medical care to more than 45,000 patients. All its activity is patient-oriented, offering all clinical care in the same physical space. IPO-Porto has the largest bone marrow transplantation unit and the largest radio-oncology/radiosurgery unit in Southwest Europe

Since Saba focuses its #SocialAction on health and support for vulnerable groups, the company needs to partner with leading institutions to support them in the long term and collaborate on projects that benefit the comfort of patients and their families, especially in #HospitalHumanisation projects. Overall, Saba is currently involved in more than 20 agreements with institutions, foundations and hospitals in different countries.
